Dog Products and Services I Use
These are products and services I personally use with my dogs. Some links are affiliate links, which means I may receive a benefit if you purchase through them.
Animal Communicator
Donna DoLittle - https://donnadolittle.com.au/ - Donna is based on the Sunshine Coast in Australia but offers animal communication sessions worldwide. She is intuitive, kind, and deeply compassionate. She was tremendously supportive when I was dealing with grief of losing my dog, and she continues to be a source of comfort as I now book sessions with her for my other animals.
Dog Food
I’m a strong proponent of raw and fresh food feeding, and I prefer to give my dogs treats in the least processed form possible. Below are the brands I personally use for my own dogs.
Wolfit box - https://account.wolfitbox.com.au?r=1620993&s=8572 (affiliate: gives me AU$50 credit and AU$50 off for you). Premade raw food that can be served raw or cooked. I prefer this over pre-cooked meals, since if I want to give my dogs a warm meal, I’d rather cook it fresh.
Freezy Paws - https://www.freezypaws.com.au. I mainly buy their freeze-dried chicken feet. My small dogs love them, they help keep teeth cleaner, and they’re less messy than raw chicken feet.
Proudi - https://proudi.com/
Raw and Fresh - https://rawandfresh.com.au/
Washable Carpets
I use washable carpets throughout the house to stop my dogs from slipping on tile and wooden floors. As they’ve gotten older, I’ve noticed they’re more hesitant on slippery surfaces, so the carpets give them confidence and help prevent injuries. They’re also easy to wash when soiled.
Double - https://double.online/?ref=zgvjytg (I earn up to 10% commission if you purchase through it). Their system has two parts:
The carpet top – thin, foldable, and depending on size, it usually fits into a regular washing machine.
The rug base – a padded backing that makes it feel like a normal carpet. You don’t need to buy the base every time; you can just swap out different carpet tops for a new look.
Note: Double is on the pricier side. I also use other washable floor mats (e.g. Rug Australia, Miss Amara) which are less padded but still practical around the house.
Neptune - https://neptuneblanket.com.au/. They make very plush memory foam mats. I use one in the main play area as a safety precaution since young dogs can get a bit too excited. The smaller sizes fit in the washing machine; the larger ones I just spot clean.
